Rufus has developed this new routine where starting around 9:30PM he starts following me, watching me and meowing at me where ever I go. For some reason he will stop if I get him a fresh bowl of water, even if I just got him new water like two hours ago. If I don’t get him a fresh bowl of water he continues for as long as I am still awake, and then settles for sitting right outside my bedroom door (next to his water) and meowing really loudly when I do go to bed. It’s always almost the same time each night. Rufus thrives with routines.
